ISU Sponsored Programs Information Network (ISU SPIN)

The Office of Sponsored Programs Administration (OSPA), Sponsored Programs Accounting (SPA), and Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer (OIPTT) work collaboratively to strengthen our functions, processes and procedures.

The ISU Sponsored Programs Information Network (ISU SPIN) was created to:

  • Replace the Grant Coordinator terminology, Grant Coordinator Meetings and grantc listserv;
  • Communicate sponsored programs information to ISU pre-award and post-award support staff;
  • Create and maintain structured channels of communication and meetings between the central research administration units (OSPA, SPA, OIPTT) and sponsored programs support staff in departments, centers, colleges and units; and
  • Impact the effective administration of the sponsored programs process.

The focus of ISU SPIN is to coordinate information dissemination to all administrative and support staff who provide pre-award and/or post-award assistance to PIs on sponsored projects.  We look forward to continuing to work with campus and enhancing our existing framework for effective partnerships.
