This table represents the amount of tuition to be included in a Grant Proposal
where the tuition is an allowable cost by the sponsor [see
table for USDA]. It is supported by a memo from the Controller's
Office, March 2008. "The attached document provides a recap of the
Federal regulations relating to the allowability of charging graduate
scholarships and fees to sponsored funding." [1-page

** This table is based on the actual rates for Academic Year (AY)
Summer 2008 - Spring 2009 (posted by the
Office of the Registrar -
http://www.public.iastate.edu/~registrar/fees/ ). All future AY's are
increased by 4.14% (calculation based on the average of tuition increases for
the two previous AY's and the current AY 2008 -2009). This table and the
percentages will be updated each year after the tuition increase has been
approved.
